The main flaw I see with this is how broken 3v3s are.
It's too easy to make unbeatable teams.
While you could play with fun teams like: Anivia, Ashe, Nunu... Malz, WW, Skarner... Kennen, Akali, Shen...
All you'll see are tryndamere's, Mundo's, Jax's, and other 3v3 terrors. Even with draft mode, there are easily 5 OP 3v3 champions, and that's not counting strong champions in the current 5v5. Winning the game won't come down to skill with your champion, but skill with the select few champions that excel in 5v5s.
The next problem you have is the prize amount. It starts at -$7.50 with 1 team, and increases by 7.50 for each team that joins. But you have to divide the price by 3 as it's a 3v3 game. You won't even double your money if you win unless four teams join. Assuming I'd enter, there would be two teams, meaning the best I could do is break even. Meanwhile, regardless, the house wins.
I love the idea, but you're going to need a bit more popularity before you can turn a profit on these contests.
My last issue is the scoring system. Last hitting towers is and always has been useless in terms of gameplay. It demonstrates no skill and requires players to stop pushing in order to attempt to last hit. You should get the points regardless of how the tower died. Meanwhile, far more important objectives like the buffs and dragon are completely left out of the scoring system.
A perfect example: Caitlyn mundo and nunu are on a team together. Caitlyn solos top, nets through dragon wall, and AFK farms. Nunu and Mundo just last hit bottom. They turtle like assholes, and build only GP5 items. Once both inhibs are down, nunu ults by nexus, mundo cleavers people, and caitlyn picks up and easy ace. They then AFK farm more minions. Bottom lane has massive sustain is is super tanky, and top lane has a wall protecting it. The entire team is based around abusing the point system, turtling up, and not caring if they lose.
My advice: Keep it simple. If you win the game, you win the game. Prize money is $15 worth of RP, or 5 for each team member. Then, once the tourney is finished, you can advertise it on the forums, more will join, and you can progress to 5v5s and entry fees

That doesn't sound bad at all! It's people like you that help out a ton when I come up with this stuff. I had doubts about the point scoring and I guess I'd need a lot more people to help me do that portion. I'll accept your idea there. (points will be deleted from this) as far as 3v3's go. I think skill DOES partake in it. If you have good team comp. it wouldn't matter if the entire enemy team was full of tryns or jax's. You have to have good thought out strategy and good communication. So I'm going to continue with doing it as a 3v3. (Also because the pool is smaller) I think cash is a lot better then RP because not everyone needs RP but everyone needs cash. I will take that into consideration as it would be the right prize to give. Although it is 50% for the winning team. I had high hopes and there is still about half a month to get more people. I expected to get at least 8 teams. I will consider raising the percentage of the winner. (I'm raising it) Because like you said, it does attract more people. Thanks a lot for your feedback. Changes will be made accordingly. -Dallas
