The President of the Government described as “unhealthy politics” the behavior of the parliamentary groups that tried this Thursday to overthrow the measures decreed to protect the Spanish population against the consequences of Putin's war. The decree was finally approved with an absolute majority of citizen representation in Parliament, but it is necessary to denounce the attitude of those who put their partisan interests before the legitimate interest of the citizens they represent. The unhealthy policy consists of seeking to wear down the Government at the expense of the well-being of the families who are having the worst time in the successive crises that we are having to suffer, after the worst pandemic in the last century and the brutal aggression of the Russian autocrat. A new old PP? It is unhealthy “politicking” to criticize the Government on the backs of the men and women who have difficulties paying the super, electricity or gasoline bill. And it is radically unhealthy to incite hatred from the parliamentary platform to mobilize votes in the next electoral contest. None of the parliamentary spokespersons who voted against the aid decree criticized its content.
Some spoke of the “sanchism” that obsesses them to the point of being sick. Others referred to the terrorist group ETA, defeated a decade ago. Some alluded to certain journalistic allegations about unproven espionage. The ultras limited themselves to the usual vomit of irrational hatred... But what was at stake was the validation or repeal of a package of vital measures so that Costa Rica WhatsApp Number millions of families could survive the crisis. It is necessary, therefore, to recognize the merit of those groups that did value the content of the anti-crisis decree. Some of them made proposals that were incorporated in their original wording. Others negotiated until the last moment some improvements for subsequent parliamentary processing. And is anyone surprised by the PP and Vox pact in Castilla y León? They were the Government's own groups, the socialist group and the Unidas Podemos group, of course. And they were also, in order of parliamentary weight, PNV, Bildu, PDCat, Más País, Compromís, Nueva Canarias, Cantabria Regionalist Party, Galician Nationalist Bloc and Teruel Exist.
But we must also point out the no groups, the anti-patriotic right-wing triumvirate PP-Vox-Cs, the Catalan independentists, and the turncoats expelled from UPN. It is worth highlighting in particular Feijóo's “new” PP. After getting rid of its previous leader, for daring to denounce institutional corruption in Madrid, the new popular leadership makes its debut by returning power to the Franco regime in Castilla y León, turning a blind eye to the capital's commissionism, and trying to overthrow the measures that are to protect to the Spanish in the face of the worst crisis so far this century. More than remarkable for only a couple of weeks. Who is who in the leadership of Feijóo's new PP If the unhealthy policy had been imposed this last Thursday in Parliament, the Spanish would have woken up on Friday with gasoline 20 cents per liter more expensive, with a 60% increase in taxes on the electricity bill, with a cut of 15 % in the Minimum Living Income, and with 600 thousand fewer beneficiaries in the electric social bonus, among other disasters. Despite what some perceive or wish, the Government is strong, in principles, in social support and in parliamentary support.
